Here is our brave little man, although it looks scary he is in good hands. In order to keep his heart rate down they needed to paralyze him so he won't move, they also sedated him so he doesn't wonder why he can't move. He is so peaceful right now, we know that the veil is thin and that he has many angels we love keeping him company from the other side. It was hard to see him like this but we know that each machine serves a purpose and that he will make it through all of this just fine.
...Just read through the last post, sorry for all the misspelled words...sleepy :)

  1. If that picture doesn't just break your heart. Poor little guy. But if we only had a camera that showed the other side you wouldn't even be able to see him cause all that are surrounding him. Through our experience I truly gained a testimony of help from the other side and know that you guys have the same.

  3. I heard about your family through the Malmberg's blog and our family has been praying so very hard for yours! We were in the same position at Primary's last year at this time. Just a different condition with our son and the emotions are still so raw, seeing those wires and machines reminded me so much of our Jace. Unfortunatley, he wasn't a good candidate for Lung Transplant and he passed away October 19, 2008. I BELIEVE that your little guy WILL make it through this, he is strong and God has provided a way through surgery and surgeons that are skilled and trained. God does carry us through, and PRAYERS from others are a huge strength. Please just know that we have had your family in our hearts, prayers and thoughts. I hope you don't think I am crazy for commenting and I don't even know you... but, we have been praying so hard for your son and family and wanted you to know that. Sending more prayers your way!!!

  6. Hello Daryl and Ashley,
I am so sorry about your son, I feel so bad this picture caused you heartache. We wondered if we should put it on but so many people want to see how he looks and how he is doing. We are so grateful for examples like you and the Taylor's as well as the prayers and thoughts of everyone else, we love all of you. I am sure your Jace is on the otherside watching over you as well as other little children who are going through what he did and what Teagan is going through. Thank you for your comment.
    Love,
    Bryson and Amanda

  7. Hey guys, just thought I would pass this comment along from my friend who is a nurse

"When I worked at Primary's I got to work with sweet babies, who had this same condition, and their amazing families every day. It is incredible what the doctors can do to help them and the doctors at Primary's are the very best. This surgery goes well all the time there!! I am wishing the same results for your friends."

Also, our friends Daryl & Ashley are such amazing people who can definitely relate. . .and the networking begins. YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A SUPPORT SYSTEM bigger than you realize(: We'd all be there at a moments notice if you need anything. Love you!
